Sun God Festival

Sun God Festival is an UCSD tradition which is held every year. It's a day where u should not bother to attend your classes since neither your classmates nor tutors will be there. Many people in California come to San Diego just to catch it. This year, one of the main performances is by Third Eye Blind!!! Tickets are free for UCSD students, but costs $25 for outsiders. It's kinda expensive, but it's sold out everytime.

Sun God!!!
A 14-foot high fiberglass statue constructed in France
& shipped to UCSD for installation in 1983

Lots of good food, including this Korean BBQ

The pond became a foamy pool
many people actually played with the foam after dressing up nicely. Weird.

Japanese drummers
They rock!

Disgusting water
No wonder it's free -_-"

We tried the slide, it was really fun!

Back of the slide

Sumo wrestling
It's really funny, go watch the video!

Water slide
The water is so dirty & gross lah

Medieval characters

As the night time events start at 7pm, Saskia, xinyi & I went to catch 2 movies:

Shrek is hilarious as usual, however I wished there was more plot
Though the movie was nice, somehow i wasn't fully satisfied

I thought Spiderman 3 was pretty good
Wasn't as bad as the reviews said
